Civil Engineer / Civil Designer

Job Description:

  • Civil Engineer, Civil Designer with Land Development experience, or Landscape Architect,
  • Site planning and design,
  • Stormwater Management Design.,
  • Municipal, IEPA, IDOT, MWRD, and NPDES Permitting,
  • Managing resources to expedite the project,
  • Work directly with clients, engineers, and other consultants.

Job requirements:

  • 0 – 5 years of experience in relevant land development civil engineering project design,
  • BS in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture a plus; EIT also a plus,
  • Familiarity with current software used in stormwater detention design,
  • Understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic conditions, water quality and BMP design techniques,
  • A solid grasp of soil erosion and sedimentation control measures and knowledge of regulatory agency laws, ordinances and regulations,
  • Ability to use AutoCAD is a plus, but not required,
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to generate clear and concise documentation and work with clients and agencies,
  • Great attitude and ability to work with a team.
